Where we fly from in Essex. Our hot air balloon take off sites
 Several launch sites are needed for our hot air balloon trips in Essex due to requirements that hot air balloons avoid controlled airspace such as that around Stansted airport. We take off from Chelmsford, Billericay and Brentwood area, Braintree, Colchester and Kelvedon.
There are also other natural obstacles such as the East Coast. To overcome these problems Countryside Balloons has a number of launch sites to choose from around the Essex countryside that best suit the flying conditions and wind direction on the day. These sites are easy to find and well placed with ample free parking. By having a large selection of take off sites throughout Essex we are able to provide an enjoyable, scenic and safe balloon flight of good duration.
